Welp, I'm back.

Hello world!  I've returned to the blog-o-sphere.  I realized I really did miss writing, sharing, and connecting in this way.  (Wanna know what happens when you make your blog private?  It goes PRIVATE, as in no one reads or looks at it, or knows it exists.  And eventually even you forget it exists.  And then you get a swift kick in the pants when you remember that that's pretty much what the word private means.  And you realize private is boring.  So you get rid of the old boring blog and, after a refreshing hiatus, start a new one.)  I've got myself a grown-up, non-embarrassing blog address and I've learned a few lessons about not trying too hard to make my posts interesting and then being disappointed about the follower situation.  (Because you nearly always see a fatty goose egg when you check to see how many people read your private blog post.  See "private is boring".)  So basically what I'm saying is--I'm back.  Not because I have any earth shattering, life changing news to share, but because my life is a simple story that I believe is worth telling.  More coming soon...!
